Following Ramsey across the stripe would be Applebee, Boardman, William Reeves and Jason Black.Īs we all know, Franklinville’s Oakes has proven he’s one of the biggest threats of the many Super Late Model talents in the Southern Tier. Ramsey would make his winning move when it counted the most, moving around leader Shane Applebee on lap 4, just before the final caution of the race would fly from chief flagger Spanky Hall. If the event would have stayed green, it had all the makings of a great finish with a three-car battle taking place between top runners, Shane Applebee, former champ John Boardman and Ramsey. The Pro Stock main would really never get going, as the event was called on lap 6 for exceeding the time limit. Southwell would settle for second, Dan Sasso with another fine run finished third, Dennis Lunger was fourth and Greg Johnson rounded out the top five. Scott would cushion his lead the remaining 11 laps to capture his 16th career Stateline UMP Modified feature victory, as well as his third UMP Modified win of the season. It would take Scott, the fifth-place starter, nine laps to muscle his way around race-leader Butch Southwell. Running order behind Parker would be Matt Sipes, Scott Gurdak, Andy Michael and Josh Ferry. The race would later be called after two consecutive cautions. Khole Wanzer had led the initial 10 laps until Parker would get by Wanzer as the field would cross the line on lap 11. Parker would be declared the winner of the caution-marred RUSH Crate Late Model feature that was called on lap 11 for exceeding the event’s time limit. As the night ended it would be David Parker in the RUSH Crate Lates, David Scott in the UMP Modifieds, Tanner Ramsey in the Pro Stocks, Greg Oakes in the Super Lates, Steve Dixon in the RUSH Pro Mods, John Mease in the Challengers and Terry Mealy in the SHARP Mini Lates all securing victories.
